


Rigging Inspections
Our Rigging and Safety Inspections provide a comprehensive evaluation of your venue’s critical systems and equipment. All inspections are completed by an ETCP Certified Rigger (Arena/Theatre) to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance. From fly systems and rigging procedures to pipe grids, trusses, and fire curtains, every component is thoroughly examined to confirm it is safe, functional, and compliant.
All fly system inspections are completed by an ETCP Certified Rigger (Arena/Theatre). We examine all components of your fly system to ensure they are functioning properly and compliant with current industry standards:

Battens — inspection of condition, alignment, and smooth operation

Blocks and Guides — inspection of loft blocks, head blocks, rope guides, and idler pulleys

Counterweight Systems — assessment of arbors, T-Tracks, tension blocks, and loading galleries

Automated/Motorized Systems — inspection of motor function, control interfaces, limit switches, brakes, safety interlocks, and emergency stop functions

Fire Curtain & Smoke Vent Operation — functional testing of pull stations, speed analysis, and seal to the stage floor

We evaluate fall arrest and prevention equipment and review safety protocols to confirm compliance with OSHA standards.

PPE & Harnesses — inspection of personal protective equipment, proper fit, condition, and certification compliance

Anchor Points & Systems — inspection of fixed anchors, lanyards, self-retracting lines, and restraint systems

Fall Arrest & Rescue Procedures — verification of emergency plans, rescue kits, and staff training documentation
We inspect all draperies, masking, and stage soft goods to ensure they are safe, functional, and compliant with state and federal flame retardancy requirements:

Condition & Installation — inspection of seams, hems, grommets, tie-lines, and track systems for wear or damage

Operation — verification of traveler tracks, pulleys, and manual/motorized controls for smooth and safe function

Flame Retardancy — testing of fabrics in accordance with NFPA 701 standards and confirmation of valid documentation
